FLIPPED LEARNING
When I heard about flipped classroom I got confused because I did not know about the topic. But when I started reading I could understand that I was in a flipped classroom. I learned that the interaction is the key element when flipping the classroom. Students get information, they read and at the time of the class, they already have previous knowledge about the topic and it gets easy for me as a teacher to get deeper into the learning material. I also learned that students have to play and active role while preparing their homework. As a teacher, I have to motivate the students, build courses, create practices so the students get started with the information they have and the I can give feedbacks.
I believe teaching isn’t only about giving knowledge
or delivering content to the students. It is also equally important to make
sure the students have understood and have an active learning experience. When
technology is everyday speaking to people at all ages, the old traditional ways
are no longer working anymore. When I heard about flipped classroom I got
confused because I did not know about the topic. But when I started reading I
could understand that I was in a flipped classroom. I learned that the
interaction is the key element when flipping the classroom. Students get
information, they read and at the time of the class, they already have previous

I have understood that there are many benefits when
flipping the classroom and that they can affect the classical setting of it. All
the tools are the teacher's to use, for the best delivery of instruction. In
this case students are passive and whoever see the classroom get to know that
students are anything but passive. It sometimes impact in the way that they
look for more information and get passionate about the subject they are
learning.
When students listen to lectures at home, solve any
task and apply this knowledge inside the classroom. They do not get so
frustrated. When they don't understand a new concept, they can ask questions
and get immediate targeted answers.
The time: the time that is spent in the classroom
sometimes is not enough for all the task like conversation that can be
supported from exploring subjects in a deeper manner
The flipped classroom is very demanding, more than the
traditional one. Teachers need to identify the individual learning needs of
students, making sure they all use the class time to engage with the learning
process. It can be more difficult compared to the traditional teaching method.
It also come with a set of rewards that can be impacting in the particular
teaching experience:
1. When students come to class well prepared: there is no
need to address content related questions.
2. As soon as lecture is done, it can be reused as many
time as I want.
3. The flipped classroom give me the freedom to decide
how much time to spend with each student.
4. Offer more transparency for parents who know exactly
what their kids are preparing for a school. This is a way parents and teacher
get in better communication.
Students can watch video lectures at their own pace,
and it also gives them the freedom to apply the knowledge gained.
The
flipped classroom inspires me to offer a versatile and engaging way to share
learning content, while putting more control into students' hands regarding
their own learning processed
